Installing Sublime SMS and connecting your Kudosity SMS account

Get your HubSpot account connected in a few minutes

Before you start

You'll need:

  • Admin access to your HubSpot account
  • An active Kudosity (formerly Burst SMS) account with API access

Step 1: Install Sublime SMS

Install Sublime SMS from the HubSpot Marketplace, or use the install link provided by your account manager. You'll be asked to authorize a set of permissions -- these let Sublime SMS read and update your contacts, log timeline events, and register the SMS workflow action.

Once you approve, you'll land on a welcome page with a setup checklist showing what's done and what's still needed.

Step 2: Get your Kudosity API credentials

Log in to your Kudosity account and go to Settings > API Keys. Copy your API Key and API Secret -- you'll need both.

Step 3: Connect your account in HubSpot

  1. In HubSpot, go to Settings > Integrations > Connected Apps
  2. Find Sublime SMS and click into it
  3. Enter your Kudosity API Key and API Secret, then save

Once saved, Sublime SMS automatically detects any dedicated numbers leased in your Kudosity account and makes them available as sender options -- you don't need to configure them separately.

Step 4: Confirm you're ready

Return to the welcome page (or check Settings > Integrations > Sublime SMS at any time) to see your live setup checklist. Once every item is checked, you're ready to send.
