Using dedicated vs. shared sender numbers

Choose whether messages send from a shared or dedicated number

Shared number (default)

By default, your messages send from a shared number provided by Kudosity. This requires no setup and works immediately once your account is connected.

Dedicated numbers

If you'd prefer messages to come from your own dedicated number, you can lease one directly through your Kudosity account. Once a number is leased and active in Kudosity, it's automatically detected by Sublime SMS and appears as a selectable option in the sender dropdown -- both in the SMS Chat card and in the workflow Send SMS action. There's no separate step to register it in Sublime SMS.

If a dedicated number isn't showing up

Sender numbers are pulled directly from your Kudosity account's list of owned numbers. If a number you expect to see isn't appearing:

  • Confirm the number shows as active/owned in your Kudosity account, not just available for lease
  • Confirm the API credentials connected in Sublime SMS belong to the same Kudosity account that owns the number

If both check out and the number still doesn't appear, contact support.
